This study look into women who works as sports journalists. The purpose is to examine how they see their own role as women and sports journalists and how the work environment has evolved over time. The purpose is answered via three questions, How does women sports journalists view their own role, How do they feel about the reactions from athletes, colleagues and the audience, and How do they experience their work environment. To answer the questions we use qualitative interviews which are examined with the theories of power and gender by Pierre Bourdieu and the perspectives of gender from Gunilla Jarlbro and Gayle Rubin.
